Lucky (Serial) Number

Just for one day I thought I’d write a short post to share an incredible purchase from one of my favorite places to buy cards. At first glance it may appear to be a normal 1988 Score baseball card of an Atlanta Braves HOFer. But this one is serial numbered in a very unusual way:

I didn’t even know that Score had issued a serial #’d version of this card but when it was offered for $41.20 delivered, I had to jump on it. Now I gotta dig out my 1988 Score baseball cards and see if any of those are also serial #’d. I’ll keep you posted if I find any. Stay tuned…

4.1.20 – quite clever! i miss out on all the deals. this card – the oddest thing going around the blogs today. that, and I was finally laid off today – that’s no joke.

Nice find. My 1988 Score Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card has the same serial numbering.
